We have a major blog post in the works about the great humour that is to be find in e-mail correspondence here in Dubai. But, in the meantime, we stumbled across this Office E-mail Translator over at Maxim.com, that should work fantastically anywhere in the world. Czech it!

Great news! Over at Advertising Age you can now watch all the TVC’s from this year’s Super Bowl, sans any boring American “foot”ball!
But we’re not sure if the creative’s brains got credit crunched this year, or if we’re all a bit on the slow side – but aren’t the spots this year quite …mediocre..? Normally the Super Bowl commercials keep a very high standard, so we’re quite surprised. It’s also interesting to see that Budweiser and is responsible for a whopping 9 out 61 TVC’s hehe, says something about what people do while watching the game innit? But honestly, Bud’s commercials are probably the most boring ones…

But to be fair, one or two spots are aight: Audi “Green car”, Bridgestone “Whale of a Tale”, Coca Cola “Hard Times”, Emerald Nuts/Pop-Secret “Awesomer”, Doritos “Snack Attack Samurai”, Monster “Fiddling Beaver” and Dove “Manthem” are all decent. The crappiest of the whole bunch is Boost Mobile’s “Shuffle”, which is a major irony fail. Dodge’s “Man’s Last Stand” is really good, and Google’s brilliant “Parisian Love” is without a doubt the very best of the bunch, and has already gone viral with truck loads of remixes on the int3rwebZ.

So, what did you think?

There’s obviously a lot of talk about Toyota these days, so we’ll be brief with this one, as we certainly dont want you to come down with a serious case of Toyota-overload.
Anyway, so Lazhar discovered yesterday that the Irish Toyota site had been hacked! We thought that was really funny..!

Now get back to work!

We are pretty sure that this weird Japanese TVC from ’78 did not have George Lucas’ blessing..
