Top 4..?
Lonely Planet recently put out a new guide “1000 Ultimate Experiences”, and one of the things they list there are the top 10 places to party in the world. But guess what? Neither London, New York, Paris nor Tokyo are listed. Shock! Instead it’s slightly more off the beaten track kind of places that are fighting for the glory. Cape Town is there in the 7th spot; Thessaloniki is placed 5; and we say mabrouk to the number 1 party city, Belgrade, Serbia! Then there are places we’ve barely heard about such as Baku (Azerbaijan) and La Paz (Bolivia), which made us wanna party hardy with oil and drug warlords like its 2012. And, at number 4, we find good ol’ Dubai! Now, fine, if your thing is champagne and Swarovski encrusted chandeliers -ok, Dubai is a good place for you to socialize with the rest of the “elite”.
