No Boundaries

We recently completed a graphics package for a new documentary/travel tv-show called No Boundaries. Apart from conceptualizing and creating all graphics for the show, we also organized all the music together with Swedish wunderkinds Red Pipe, and we are also doing the editing for the full season.

Read more about the show at the website and follow the production on the facebook group.

Here are some behind the scenes pictures.

Site update + Tokyo/Glow

So after neglecting our website for a while, we’ve today done a major update with 5 new videos, a news update, AND our spanking new reel.
Funny, apparently our fake trailer got nominated in the Best Animation category at the Digital Studio Awards that is taking place tonight, but they’ve not been able to get hold of us..! Strange. Anyway, the fact that’s it’s now well past 200,000 hits at youtube more than well makes up for that.

But believe it or not, there ARE other people who do cool stuff as well! Check for example out this lovely clip!

Attention FCP-freelancers!

•February 23, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Rolling Thunder in Dubai needs a freelance FCP editor with extensive long-form/docu editing experience and a cool attitude. We need a storyteller with good organizational skills. The project starts around 20-25 March until 12 April (which is when we are editing the pilot) and after a break we would continue to edit the other 12 episodes over roughly 6 months. If you got what it takes and want to be part of a really cool international production, please send your details, your rates, and some work samples (only links, not attachments please) urgently to henrik[at]rtdubai.com. We are looking to select the successful candidate in the next 1-2 weeks..!

We have a major blog post in the works about the great humour that is to be find in e-mail correspondence here in Dubai. But, in the meantime, we stumbled across this Office E-mail Translator over at Maxim.com, that should work fantastically anywhere in the world. Czech it!

Great news! Over at Advertising Age you can now watch all the TVC’s from this year’s Super Bowl, sans any boring American “foot”ball!
But we’re not sure if the creative’s brains got credit crunched this year, or if we’re all a bit on the slow side – but aren’t the spots this year quite …mediocre..? Normally the Super Bowl commercials keep a very high standard, so we’re quite surprised. It’s also interesting to see that Budweiser and is responsible for a whopping 9 out 61 TVC’s hehe, says something about what people do while watching the game innit? But honestly, Bud’s commercials are probably the most boring ones…

But to be fair, one or two spots are aight: Audi “Green car”, Bridgestone “Whale of a Tale”, Coca Cola “Hard Times”, Emerald Nuts/Pop-Secret “Awesomer”, Doritos “Snack Attack Samurai”, Monster “Fiddling Beaver” and Dove “Manthem” are all decent. The crappiest of the whole bunch is Boost Mobile’s “Shuffle”, which is a major irony fail. Dodge’s “Man’s Last Stand” is really good, and Google’s brilliant “Parisian Love” is without a doubt the very best of the bunch, and has already gone viral with truck loads of remixes on the int3rwebZ.

So, what did you think?
